THESIS…

The growing digital literacy gap among older adults creates a major barrier to their participation in today’s technology driven fitness world, but by providing supportive education, user-friendly tools, and trainer led guidance, we can help older adults build confidence, bridge this gap, and ensure they feel included and empowered in their fitness journey.

POINT OF VIEW…

From my perspective as a personal trainer, the digital literacy gap among older adults is more than just a technology issue it’s a confidence issue. I’ve seen firsthand how many older clients feel left out or intimidated by digital tools that could actually make their fitness journey easier and more enjoyable. I believe it’s our responsibility as fitness professionals to meet them where they are, provide patient guidance, and show them how technology can be a source of empowerment rather than frustration.
